Find Your Spark with Compassionate Care
At Her spark, we believe that mental health is a journey unique to each person. Our approach focuses on creating a warm and welcoming space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
-
Focused, one-to-one virtual counselling to help you make sense of a current challenge, develop coping strategies, and work toward goals that matter to you. We’ll agree on an initial focus, check in on your progress, and adjust the plan as needed. If your concerns would be better supported by a different or more specialized service, we can discuss appropriate next steps.
Sessions are available to women aged 18 and older who are physically located in Ontario at the time of each appointment.
-
Payment is processed securely by credit card after each session. You will receive a receipt following payment.
Services are provided by a Registered Social Worker and may be covered by extended health benefits. Please confirm with your insurance provider that your plan covers counselling or psychotherapy services provided by an RSW.
Her Spark does not offer direct billing. Clients pay for sessions and submit receipts to their insurer for possible reimbursement.
-
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, are charged the full $180 session fee.
Complimentary Consultation
15 minutes | Free
An opportunity to tell me a little about what you’re looking for, ask questions, and see whether my approach feels like a good fit. There’s no obligation to book a session afterward.
The consultation is not a counselling session and does not provide treatment or crisis support.
Areas of focus
I support women aged 18+ through a range of experiences and transitions. You do not need to be a mother or a student to seek counselling here.
Individual Counseling for Women
Young Adults & Post-Secondary Students
Adjusting to college or university, academic stress, independence, relationships, identity, uncertainty about the future, and managing competing responsibilities. My post-secondary counselling background also informs my understanding of disability-related barriers and accessibility needs.
Anxiety and everyday worries, stress, overwhelm, burnout, self-esteem, self-compassion, motivation, and feeling stuck.
Emotional Well-Being
Pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, changing identity, parenting-related overwhelm, returning to work after maternity leave, and finding space for your own well-being alongside caregiving responsibilities.
Motherhood & Changing Roles
Finding direction or purpose, major decisions, career changes, work-related concerns, independence, shifts in identity, and reconnecting with your values and interests.
Identity & Life Transitions
Our work will be tailored to your needs and the scope of brief individual counselling. Where specialized or higher-intensity support would be more appropriate, we can discuss options together.
